After you have worked long and hard to get your
new website installed and running, you may loose patience after waiting
month after month for the first relevant amount of traffic to your site
to start making sales or respectable affiliate income.
But the standard search engine submissions usually
do need a lot of time to bring you the traffic you need. Too much time,
very often. Also you may have discovered that link exchanges, link
trading, submission to webrings and posting your website at free-for-all
lists are very time consuming things to do. Moreover, these webtraffic
methods do send you some more visitors to your homepage, but not the
amount of traffic that you may have expected.
And advertising? Well this will bring you traffic,
but as we talk about low budget website traffic optimisation at this
stage, we donīt want to discuss traffic driving methods consuming huge
amounts of money with sometimes questionable results. It is tricky and
requires some experience and close surveillance of your advertising
campaigns in order to avoid wasting money in case the conversion of
visitors into buyers on your website is too low in comparison to

I have some good news for you: There are 3 basic
ways to get website traffic to your website very fast and even at low
budget.
What do you have to do?
1. Write and Submit Articles
You have been writing all these product reviews
and product recommendations for your website. Well, writing articles is
not very much different. It is not even more difficult. If your site is
about pets and promotes products related to cats, dogs and fish, write
an article about "10 Secrets to keep your dog slim and
healthy". Include a "resource" or "about the
author" box at the end of the article which should include your
name, a very brief description about yourself and your relation to the
articleīs theme as well as - most important - your website URL. Take a

to grab an example.
After writing your article, the next step is to
publish it to relevant article directories. There are lots of article
directories out there and the good news is - most of them are free. Go
there, set up a free account and submit your article into the most
relevant category. The better unique quality content your article
provides, the higher are your chances that it will be picked up more
often by publishers in order to republish on their webpages. And almost
every of these pages will contain a link back to your site, providing
you with both, page visitors and the chance of a higher Google pagerank
for your homepage.

2. Advertising on Ezines
Ezine advertising is another great way to drive
traffic to your site, however you cannot get it totally for free.

website. As mentioned, these advertisements are not for free (which is
the nature of advertisements, is it?) on the other hand they are
generally available at very low cost. Sometimes 8 US$ for a 6-line issue
with about 60 characters per line will do. The big advantage of ezines
is, that you present your message directly in front of the eyes of a
high target audience. You will receive lotīs of visitors that are
interested in the topic, many of them willing to buy. Post your ezines
to other hobby, pet or animal related websites and the sale per visitor

3. Advertising in Pay Per Click Search Engines
The fastest and most direct way to get traffic to
your website is to buy keywords and keyword phrases at pay per click

definitely the fastest and most easy to use PPC account to set up. Just
open your account, fill in title, a brief description or advertisement
text, choose your prefered keywords on which your ad should be displayed
on the search engineīs search result pages and youīre done. From that
point, your ad will start being promoted within a few minutes, sometimes
seconds only. Check into your account frequently in order to follow up
your results and expenses and to optimize your campaigns.
Google AdWords and the other pay per click search
engine programs are very quick and very effective. Visitors coming
through this channel are usually very well targeted to your keywords.
This means, the conversion rate from visitors into customers can be
rather high.
As it is pay per click, youīre account will be
debited for every click done on the ad, means not for views, but for
